Launching at the start of last week, thousands of students have come together to celebrate their first year at Glyndwr University with a variety of events – with one of the more popular events being the annual freshers fair!

The popular event was one of several taking place across the week to welcome this year’s batch of Glyndwr University freshers. Other fresher events held this week have included a fun fair, foam party, offers at Eagles Meadow and the Aqueduct, karaoke and a treasure hunt.

Taking place in the Glyndwr Sports Centre the Freshers Fair has become one of the key events for students arriving at university / new town for the first time. The event has also become one of the more popular freshers events, with students seen queuing around the building prior to event in the hope of picking up some freebies and finding out more about the local area.
