International football coming to Flintshire as Buckley Town plays host to Wales vs Scotland U19 match later this month

Buckley Town Chairman Chris Edwards said he is ‘proud’ the club will host a Wales vs Scotland U19 match later this month.
Wales’ under-19 football team will face Scotland in a friendly double-header to prepare for their UEFA European U19 qualifying campaign.
The first match will take place on Thursday, March 23rd at Buckley Town with a 6:30 pm kickoff time.
The second game will be played at Colliers Park three days later, but it will be behind closed doors.
The upcoming fixtures are part of Cymru Under-19’s preparations for their UEFA European U19 qualifying campaign, which is set to begin later this year.
The team is placed in Group 12 with England, Austria, and Montenegro.
The Welsh squad will be hoping to make a strong start in the competition and qualify for the final tournament.
Chris Edwards, expressed his excitement at hosting the prestigious match, saying: “We’re extremely proud that the FAW have chosen The Globe to host such a prestigious match.”
