EastEnders’ Louisa Lytton to Star in The Girl on the Train at Storyhouse

Louisa Lytton, widely known for her role as Ruby Allen in EastEnders, is set to lead the stage adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ bestselling thriller The Girl on the Train.

The production will run at the Main Theatre, Storyhouse Theatre in Chester, from Tuesday 15 April to Saturday 19 April 2025.

Adapted from the international phenomenon that sold over 20 million copies, The Girl on the Train tells the story of Rachel Watson, who becomes entangled in a mystery after the woman she observes daily through a train window suddenly vanishes.

As a witness and a suspect, Rachel finds herself confronting shocking truths in a play that promises to keep audiences guessing until the final moment.

Louisa Lytton brings her extensive stage and screen experience to this thrilling production. While best known for her role in EastEnders, Lytton has also appeared in 2:22: A Ghost Story on its UK tour and Amazon Prime’s Murdoch Mysteries.

Her dynamic performances have cemented her as a standout talent in both television and theatre.

The play runs across six days, offering both evening and matinee performances:

Tuesday 15 April: 7:30 pm | From £25
Wednesday 16 April: 7:30 pm | From £25
Thursday 17 April: 2:30 pm & 7:30 pm | From £25
Friday 18 April: 7:30 pm | From £28
Saturday 19 April: 2:30 pm & 7:30 pm | From £28
Tickets are priced as follows:

Members: £22.50 – £42.30
Non-members: £25 – £47 (plus a £1.50 booking fee per ticket)
Early booking is recommended due to high demand.

The performances will take place at the Main Theatre, Storyhouse Theatre, a renowned cultural hub in Chester that offers a diverse programme of events.
