Welsh Water are currently working to repair a burst water main on the B5127 Mold Road, Ewloe.

The road will be closed between its junctions with Ewloe roundabout and Broadway for the duration of the works, the repairs are likely to take between 3 and 5 days to complete.

A signed diversion route will direct traffic via B5128 Church Road, A549 Chester Road and A55.

Drinking Water affected:

Welsh Water say:
“A burst water main has affected drinking water supplies this evening to customers in the Ewloe and Hawarden areas of Deeside.

We have a team on site trying to locate the damaged main and we anticipate that water supplies should begin returning to normal by late morning.

When the water supply is restored some customers may notice some discolouration of their tap water, this is normal in this situation and the water should clear when run from a cold tap.”
