Train line between Chester and Llandudno Junction currently ‘blocked’

Train services running between Chester and Llandudno Junction, are currently disrupted due to a fault with the signalling system.

Trains from Shotton Low-Level station to Chester and stations along the North Wales coast are currently affected.

An update from National Rail states:

‘A fault with the signalling system between Rhyl and Llanduno Junction is disrupting trains running between Chester and Llandudno Junction. Disruption is expected until 17:45.

All lines are currently blocked between Chester and Llandudno Junction. Trains may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or cancelled.

Buses have also been requested to run between these stations.’
