Strong performances from Deestriders at Keswick, Dolgarrog, and Oulton Park

It was a busy weekend for Deestriders Running Club, with members racing in Keswick, Dolgarrog, and Oulton Park.

On Saturday, Drew Gray ran a strong race at the St Herbert’s 10K in Keswick, finishing in 39:48.

Meanwhile, three club members tackled the Dolgarrog Pipe Dream, a tough race featuring a steep climb alongside a giant pipeline:

  • Paul Lewtey – 56:48
  • Fred Aird – 60:28
  • Andy Wainwright – 66:50

On Sunday, Deestriders were in action at Oulton Park, where impressive performances included:

  • Steph Salusbury, who ran 49:03 in the 10K, close to her personal best.
  • Mike Salusbury, who overcame injury concerns to complete the 20-mile race in 2:57:12.
  • Chris Preston, who set a fantastic PB of 1:39:06 in the half marathon.

With personal bests, challenging climbs, and strong finishes, it was a weekend to remember for Deestriders Running Club.
