Arrest made following damage to vehicles and graves in Connah’s Quay

Police have arrested an individual in connection with damage to vehicles and gravestones in Connah’s Quay.
North Flintshire Police confirmed the arrest this morning and urged anyone affected to report the damage if they have not already done so.
Inspector Wesley Williams thanked the public for their support and emphasised that, due to the sensitivity of the case, no further details could be shared at this time.
“We would like to thank the public for their continued support,” he said. “Due to the sensitive nature of the ongoing investigation, we will not be making any further comment at this time. We ask for the public’s understanding and cooperation as we continue to investigate this matter.”
A police spokesperson added: “If you are the owner of a vehicle or a gravestone that was damaged over the weekend and have yet to report it, please contact 101 and quote reference number 25000125753.”
The arrest follows a police appeal after graves were vandalised at Connah’s Quay Cemetery over the weekend.
Police continue to investigate and urge anyone with information to come forward.
