Young people in Flintshire aged 16 to 24 are being encouraged to put their names down for two workshops on Friday 2 August at John Summers Community Campus, Queensferry, which are aimed at dealing in enterprise and starting your own business.

Flintshire Communities First wants to hear from young people who would be interested in the workshops, which will be delivered by Menter a Busnes.

The first workshop is an opportunity for individuals to produce ideas and discuss plans they might not have thought about before.

The second workshop is more structured and specified and is more of a ‘stepping stones’ workshop, where individuals may have a more detailed business idea.

The idea of the second workshop is to get advice on different aspects of business such as business plans, pitching, marketing and finance.

The workshops will last for between two to two and half hours.

The team at Communities First is keen to hear from young people locally.
