Snow and ice make driving conditions treacherous in parts of Flintshire
Snow and ice have been making driving treacherous in some parts of Flintshire this evening.
There have been several reports on social media of collisions on roads in the county.
Wepre Lane and Mold Road in Connah’s Quay were said to be particularly bad.

The A5119 at Flint Mountain was closed following a collision but has since reopened.
At one point the A55 from Ewloe to Dobshill and from Ewloe to Northop was completely covered in snow, carriageways have since cleared as the snow showers eased.
Photographs posted on social media show snow-covered roads from Mostyn to Broughton.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather alert for Ice and Snow covering most of northern Wales including Flintshire, Wrexham as well as the North West of England is in place until 12pm on Tuesday.
According to the Met Office, accumulations of snow of a couple of centimetres are possible at low levels, with higher ground expected to see 5-10 cm in places.
In addition, icy stretches are likely to form following showers.
The Met Office is urging people to take extra care when travelling.
Motorists are advised to slow down and allow extra time for their journey, as well as to keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front. Pedestrians should be careful when walking on icy surfaces and take care when crossing roads.
The snowfall is expected to cause disruptions to travel, with delays on the roads and public transportation likely. People are advised to check the latest weather forecast and travel updates before setting out.
