Flintshire Trading Standards are warning about a scam they have received information about.

A man has been telephoning local residents claiming to be from Flintshire Council.

The person has an Asian accent and says his name is Mike, he claims to be from Flintshire County Council and working with the NHS.

He then says that a person at your phone number has been involved in an accident in the last 12months.

When challenged ‘Mike’ has stopped the call.

This is a scam, if you receive a call of this nature stop the call immediately and do not give any personal information to the caller.
