Three vehicle collision closes one lane of A494 eastbound Aston Hill

One lane of the A494 eastbound was blocked this morning after a three-car collision outside the Plough Pub on Aston Hill.

The crash, involving two small vans and a car happened around 8.30am on Tuesday morning.

Traffic quickly built up along the A494 with slow moving traffic back to the A55 as far as Halkyn.

An ambulance car has attended the scene but left soon after, one person looks to have received minor injuries.

An Ambulance spokesperson has said:

“We were called at shortly before 8.30am to reports of a four-vehicle road traffic collision on the A494 near Queensferry.

We sent a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle to the scene and a man was given treatment for minor injuries before making his own way to hospital.

All lanes were back open by 10am.
