Merseyside Police have issued a renewed appeal for information in the ongoing search for a missing teenager with links to Flintshire.

16-year-old Lewis Jones has been missing from his home in Leasowe since Thursday, 25 January where he was last seen at around 3pm.

Lewis is described as being 5ft 10in tall, of slim build, with distinctive black curly hair.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing dark clothing.

Known to have connections across a wide area, Lewis frequently visits Wirral, Liverpool, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Nantwich, Crewe, Wigan, St Helens, and has ties to North Wales, particularly Flintshire and Denbighshire, as well as Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland.

The police are urging anyone who might see Lewis or have any information about his whereabouts to contact them immediately by calling 999, to ensure he is found safe and sound.

For those who may have seen Lewis or have any information that could assist in the search, the police have provided a dedicated form on the Merseyside Police website or dial 101 with any leads.
