Police appeal for witnesses after worker is assaulted and has van stolen in Flint

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Flint this afternoon which saw two men arrested following an alleged assault and theft of a van.

Officers were called to Hazel Court in Flint just before 2.30pm today, Thursday, January 25 following reports a man had been assaulted and his BT Openreach works van had been stolen.

Police stopped the van in Halkyn Road a short time after the incident on Hazel Court and a man was arrested, another man was arrested nearby.

No one else is being sought in connection with the offence police say but ask anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them on phone 101.
