Broughton Shopping Park is set to host its annual jobs fair on Saturday 8th September from 10am – 4pm, with over 100 roles available to local jobseekers.

The fair will offer the chance to meet representatives from the centre’s retailers, and talk to them about the various positions available, as well as the application and interview process.

Taking place in a marquee outside Boots, the fair will include stalls from retailers such as Tesco, Primark, Homesense, Asda Living, Nike, Pizza Express, Next and M&S Simply Food.

Jobs on offer range from temporary Christmas positions through to part-time and full-time roles in both retail and hospitality.

The Job Centre Plus will also be on hand to help attendees with job applications, CV writing and interview advice, as well as sharing details of further vacancies on offer at the centre.

Alan Barker, centre manager at Broughton Shopping, said: “Hosting a fair like this one gives local jobseekers the opportunity to meet employers face-to-face and ask any questions they have before applying.

“It’s been hugely successful in the past and we’re expecting another big turnout this time around.

“I’d encourage anyone considering a career in retail or hospitality to come along – whether you’re looking to get your foot on the ladder or simply thinking about trying something different.”

According to its recent economic report, Broughton Shopping brings 1,900 jobs to the region and contributes £53m to the Flintshire economy each year.
