No trains between Wrexham and Bidston this week due to engineering works

All trains between Wrexham and Bidston have been cancelled this week due to engineering works.

Network Rail is laying new track at a number of sites along the line including Dee Marsh, near to Hawarden Bridge station, Shotwick Down, near the sailing lake and Burton Point, near to the wetlands.

Transport for Wales is providing a replacement coach service between Wrexham and Bidston stations but journey times will be longer.

Work began on Sunday and is expected to to completed by Sunday 14 February.
