Man charged following police pursuit in Deeside

A 26-year-old man has been charged following a police pursuit on the A55 in Deeside, which ended in Prestatyn.

Officers pursued a car in the Meliden area on Sunday, 26 January, as it continued onto the A55 and into Prestatyn, before being located at an address in the town.

Callum Elson, of Clos Teg Fan, Rhyl, has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, and a breach of a restraining order.

He appeared at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, 28 January) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Mold Crown Court on 28 February.
