Man arrested after taxi driver was assaulted in Shotton

A 35 year old local man has been arrested after a taxi driver was allegedly assaulted in the Chester Road area of Shotton

The incident happened around 2am on Saturday morning when the driver was assaulted in his car.

Initially police had asked for help with information about the person who committed the attacked however, they have said today that a man has been arrested and subsequently bailed pending enquiries.
