Beauty and skincare specialist The Body Shop is set to open a new store at Broughton, Flintshire, bringing eight new jobs to the region.

The 1,430 sq ft store, on the Eastern Terrace near Boots and Sports Direct, officially opens its doors on Saturday 29th April, and is rewarding the first 50 customers with a free goody bag.

Local shoppers attending the store’s opening event, taking place between 10am – 7pm, will also be treated to free pampering sessions including hand massages, skincare consultations and makeovers.

The Body Shop’s new look store is the third to open in North Wales, and offers a boutique-style shopping experience and expert advice from fully-trained beauty consultants.

The Broughton store will also showcase the brand’s exclusive pampering products including skincare, fragrances, make-up and gifts.

Shoppers can pick up The Body Shop’s new Almond Milk & Honey collection or book a private pamper party, with beauty treatments and refreshments, for five to ten guests.

The Body Shop is the latest in a long line of new arrivals at Broughton, following the JD Sports opening earlier this year and Primark in 2016.

Jacqui Fieldgate, The Body Shop store manager, said:

We hope that both new and existing customers will enjoy the enhanced shopping experience in our fantastic new North Wales store.

“The opening party this weekend is shaping up to be a really great event – the team can’t wait to hand out some freebies and make over Broughton’s shoppers!

Alan Barker, centre manager at Broughton, added:

I’m sure there will be a queue of people wanting a first glimpse of the store on Saturday, and I’m looking forward to seeing shoppers’ reactions.

The Body Shop joins a growing list of beauty brands available at Broughton, and helps to cement our reputation as one of the region’s leading shopping destinations.
