KnitMesh Technologies, a Greenfield-based manufacturer of knitted wire mesh components, has appointed Peter Evans and Paul Radford as directors as the company continues to expand into key international markets.

The company, which was established in 1957 and also operates a manufacturing plant in New Delhi, India, is currently growing its presence in the automotive, hydrogen production, and oil and gas sectors.

Peter Evans, who joined KnitMesh in 1998, has been promoted to Managing Director.

With 26 years of experience at the company, he brings a wealth of knowledge and operational expertise to his new role.

Paul Radford, who became part of the business in 2021, has taken on the role of Finance Director and Company Secretary. He brings extensive experience in finance and strategic planning.

Lew Bingham, Executive Chairman of Greenfield Technologies, KnitMesh Technologies’ parent company, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Peter and Paul to the board of KnitMesh Technologies. These well-deserved promotions reward their loyalty and dedication to the company and their contribution to driving our continued sales and profits growth.

“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Peter and Paul for their past contributions and look forward to welcoming them as excellent additions to our leadership team.”

KnitMesh Technologies plays a key role in supplying knitted wire mesh components to some of the world’s leading green hydrogen producers.

The company is also expanding its presence in the mist eliminator market, which is used in industrial processes to remove liquid droplets from gas streams.

The appointments of Evans and Radford are part of a broader strategic initiative focused on succession planning, enabling KnitMesh Technologies to capitalise on new opportunities while remaining adaptable to shifting market demands.

With the leadership changes, the company aims to accelerate business growth and strengthen its position in the competitive global market.
