Flintshire Business Week, Flintshire County Council’s flagship business event, is launched its 2013 programme on Thursday, 25 July at Soughton Hall. Northop.

Flintshire Business Week 2013, now in its seventh year, will take place between 15 and 25 October. Headline sponsors this year are:

AGS Security Systems (sponsoring Flintshire Business Awards)

DRB Group (FBW Magazine)

Westbridge Furniture Designs (Business Exhibition)

FBW is now the most important event of its kind in the region, attracting around 2,000 businesses every year. It supports the business community in the county and, increasingly, the wider region, to promote their companies, to develop trading opportunities and to raise the profile of the area as a place to invest.

The programme for the week has been developed with the needs of local business in mind and the emphasis will be on assisting businesses to grow and succeed in these challenging economic times.

Highlights this year will include a Business to Business Exhibition at Deeside Leisure Centre on Tuesday 15 October, our traditional Westminster event on Monday 21 October and the popular awards evening at Soughton Hall on Friday 25 October.

Cllr Aaron Shotton, Leader of Flintshire County Council, said, “Flintshire Business Week helps our local businesses and puts our area on the map. It is a unique and very successful partnership between the public and private sectors. On behalf of the Council, I want to thank sincerely all of our sponsors and partners who work so hard with the Council’s Business Development team to make this event possible.”

For sponsorship opportunities, to book a stand, and for further details about all the events taking place during Business Week go to www.flintshirebusinessweek.co.uk or contact the Business Week team on 01352 703219.
