Flint RNLI is gearing up for a spectacular fireworks display at historic Flint Castle on Friday, 3 November, the proceeds will help raise crucial funds for their lifesaving efforts.

The Fairground will open at 6pm, followed by the lighting of the beacon at 7pm. Then the fireworks display is set to take place at 7:15pm.

Entry will cost £5 per adult and £1 per child paid at the entrance.

Tracey Kerfoot, Flint RNLI Fundraising Secretary, said: “Flint RNLI volunteers organise Flint town’s firework display with a dual purpose of delivering a safe and enjoyable family event that brings the community together, while simultaneously raising crucial funds for Flint Lifeboat Station. These funds are dedicated to supporting crew training and purchasing lifesaving equipment.”

Tracy extended her thanks to the sponsors, saying, “We are grateful to our supporters and local business sponsors – Flint Town Council, Tata Steel, Essity, Nice-Pak, Polyroof, Roberts Manufacturing, Treboom Brewery, NR Glaziers, John Dale – Accrol Group, Candid Cards and Parallel Security.” Their generous contributions mean that the funds raised during the night go directly towards supporting Flint RNLI’s core mission of saving lives at sea.

Flint RNLI’s firework display will be the largest in Flintshire this year, sadly Deeside Round Table has had to cancel its display at Deeside Leisure Centre due to safety concerns raised to them by police and the local council.
