CCTV footage of a man plunging into a fountain at the Crown and Liver in Hawarden has hit the national tabloids.

To be fair its one of those videos that gets a little bit funnier the more you watch it.

One Facebook user observed: “think the girls nearly wet themselves too” –

Bernie Mahony the guy who lost his balance and ended up on his backside in the fountain seems a little less impressed, commenting on Facebook he says:

“Yes it was me…WT flying F am I going viral for anyone would think no **** tripped up in some water before!”

Meanwhile the Crown and Liver are on the search for outstanding people to join the bar team, and if incidents like that happen often then there can’t be any better places to work in Deeside! They have full and part time positions available.
Send your CV and / or covering letter to [email protected] or drop it into the pub to arrange an interview.
