Kevin Harvey, Project Sponsor, Highways Agency said:

The junction suffers heavy congestion during morning and evening peak times.

The improvements to the junction involve installing traffic signals, widening of the roundabout and the northbound and southbound exit slip roads and an upgrade to the A500 corridor.

As always we’ve planned the work very carefully to create as little disruption as possible.

Due to the nature of the work the scheduled road closures can be subject to change at short notice. For more information about this scheme and details of traffic management throughout the project please go to the dedicated project pages.
