Woman taken to hospital after falling from a ladder in Shotton

A woman was taken to hospital this afternoon after she fell from a ladder at a property in Shotton.

An Ambulance from the North West Ambulance service was seen outside the property on Chester Road West just before 12pm today.

Paramedics attended to a woman in 50’s inside a former shop which has been converted into accommodation, it appears renovation work is taking place at the property.

A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance service said;

“We received a call at 11:48am to a female in her 50s who had fallen off a ladder and has sustain a shoulder injury. She was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital by ambulance.”

There are no further details on the woman’s condition.
