Police are appealing for information following an assault in Shotton.

Officers were called to an address in Green Lane at 6.23pm on Wednesday October 29 following reports that a man had been assaulted by two other men outside his home.

The victim sustained injuries to his head, eyes and shoulder and was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital for treatment.

The offenders made off in a black or dark blue 4×4 vehicle.

The driver is described as tall, stocky and bald, the other offender is described as thin and he was wearing black Adidas labelled clothes.  It is believed a female may have also been in the vehicle.

DS Dave Tierney said;

“This was a nasty assault which required hospital treatment.  I would appeal to anyone who may have information about the offenders, or who witnessed the incident to call police on 101 or anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.”
