This year members also got creative with decorative eggs and a wide variety of themes were depicted on eggs from Disney characters through to spring time traditions. The winner of this competition was daughter of member Naomi Manton from Buckley, Kya Manton who won with her depiction of Frozen’s Elsa. Second prize went to volunteer at the Centre, Helen Ryan from Chester for her Aladdin egg and third place went to Tracey Hulme for her Faberge style egg.

“It was really difficult to choose the winners, everyone had put so much imagination into their designs” said Jane Johnston Cree, Centre Manager. “It was easy to tell that everyone had really enjoyed creating their entry. Crafting has become really popular with our members at the Centre and the competition was very popular.”

The Neuro Therapy Centre provides practical support and therapies to manage the symptoms of a wide range of neurological conditions including MS, Parkinson’s and ME and supports nearly 500 people across North Wales, Cheshire, and the Wirral.

The Centre organises social events throughout the year including competitions, quizzes and themed nights for its members who can often feel isolated due to their conditions.
