“Ridding the World of Boring Coffee” – Black Sheep sets eyes on Broughton

A growing coffee shop brand with venues across the UK, France, Philippines and the USA is brewing up plans to open a new outlet at Broughton Retail Park.

Work is already underway at the site, nestled between River Island and the Clogau jewellery shop on the busy Flintshire shopping park.

The brand, known for its ethical and sustainable approach to coffee making, was conceived by university flatmates Eirik Holth and Gabriel Shohet.

The pair chose to quit their jobs to “leave the herd behind” and pursue their passion for coffee.

The ethos of Black Sheep Coffee is to ‘rid the world of boring coffee’, but they are equally committed to doing so in a sustainable and ethical way.

Black Sheep Coffee prides itself on sourcing coffee directly from plantations, a practice that underpins their commitment to quality and sustainability.

Their coffee cups are fully recyclable, further cementing the brand’s dedication to environmental friendliness.

Moreover, Black Sheep Coffee stands out as the only retail coffee company in the world that serves 100% specialty-grade Robusta Coffee.

Notably, the company has a commitment to social responsibility, illustrated by their ‘free coffee board scheme’ in support of the homeless community. Customers are invited to make a difference by joining this initiative.

Holth and Shohet continue to helm the business as co-CEOs, persistently journeying across the globe to source the finest beans and propagate the message of Black Sheep Coffee.
