Police cordon off house on Church Street – Connah’s Quay

A man is in hospital with serious injuries and a woman is in custody following a disturbance at a house in Connah’s Quay.

Police were seen standing guard outside the house on Church Street in Connah’s Quay this morning, a cordon was in place from the gate post of a neighbouring property along the pathway and around a car and van.

A witness reported seeing three police cars and an ambulance outside a property opposite the former Swan Inn early this morning, forensic officers were also seen at the address.

In a statement North Wales police said.

“Police were called to an address on Church Street, Connah’s Quay at 6.52hrs this morning (Sunday January 28) following reports of a disturbance.

Officers attended and a male with serious injuries was transferred to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

A woman has been arrested and remains in police custody.”
