Member of rail staff assaulted at Shotton Train Station by an ‘abusive’ male – know who he is?

Transport Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to a man in connection with an incident at Shotton Train Station recently.

A member of staff was assaulted at Shotton High-Level railway station during an incident which took place at around midday on Saturday 24 June.

The man was travelling on a train with the wrong ticket and when he was challenged by the train guard he became abusive.

He then left the train and continued to abuse the staff member on the platform, before grabbing the victim’s arm.

Fortunately, the victim was not injured police say.

They are asking for help in finding the man in the images so they can speak “as he may have information which could help the investigation.”
