Flintshire Council has announced rescheduled black bin collections for residents affected by delays caused by adverse weather conditions last week.

Snow fell last Monday evening, creating treacherous conditions on the roads.

Schools closed across Flintshire due to ice and snow, and many residents didn’t have their bins collected by the council.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the council confirmed that black bins originally due for collection on Tuesday, November 19, will now be collected on Tuesday, November 26.

Residents are advised to present their black bins only on the revised date, while other services will continue as normal.

The announcement clarified that garden waste (brown bin) collections will resume on their usual schedule. Recycling collections remain unaffected.

Residents whose bins were missed on their regular collection day are encouraged to report the issue via the missed collections page on the council’s website.

For more information or to report a missed collection, visit Flintshire Council’s website.
