Flint: Drink Drive arrest after collision leaves passenger with serious injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious two-car collision in Flint last night, Tuesday, August 18.


Emergency services were called to the collision which happened near to the coach house on B5129 Kelsterton at around 11.00pm last night.

A Citroen Saxo and a Rover were involved in the crash, the road was closed for several hours as a result.

A passenger who travelling in the Citroen Saxo was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Rover, a 35-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol and he police say he remains in custody

The road reopened shortly after 2am today.

Police are asking anybody who may have witnessed the collision to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference number S125729.
