Flint Coastguard rescue team called after two people get stuck in mud on Talacre beach

Flint Coastguard rescue team (CRT) were called out along with Rhyl CRT to reports of two people stuck in the mud on Talacre Beach.

The incident happened around 300 metres west of the lighthouse on Talacre Beach.

The team from Flint were called out at 1.43pm today, Friday September 11th – on arrival it became apparent that the two people had been freed from the mud by members of the public.

Flint CRT assisted with keeping the casualties warm with blankets, both casualties were then transported back to the car park by the rescue team where we were met by Welsh Ambulance.

Fortunately, there was no need for any medical assistance so both casualties were dropped of at the holiday park in which they were staying with safety advice given.
