Retailer Argos has recalled a children’s scooter amid fears fingers could become trapped in part of the scooters button mechanism.

Argos say:

“It has been brought to our attention that in certain unusual circumstances the push button mechanism which converts the Grow ‘n’ Go 2 in 1 Sit & Scoot from a ride on to a scooter (and vice versa) could pose a potential finger entrapment hazard for small children.”

Argos say manufacture MV Sports & Leisure Limited have taken the decision to recall the product, customers are being asked to return the scooters  immediately to Argos for a full refund.

The product can also be identified by a batch code which is printed on a sticker affixed to the underside of the frame next to MV’s address details. The batch codes are: 6587/1
