Airbus delivers 766 aircraft in 2024, targets 820 in 2025

Airbus delivered 766 commercial aircraft in 2024, an increase from 735 in 2023, as demand for its aircraft remained strong. The company secured 826 net orders, bringing its total order backlog to 8,658 aircraft by the end of the year.
Revenue from commercial aircraft rose 6% to €50.6 billion, reflecting the higher number of deliveries. The company delivered 75 A220s, 602 A320 Family aircraft, 32 A330s, and 57 A350s.
“We achieved strong order intake across all businesses in 2024, with a book-to-bill well above 1, confirming the solid demand for our products and services. We delivered on our 2024 guidance in what was a testing year for Airbus,” said Guillaume Faury, Airbus Chief Executive Officer.
Looking ahead, Airbus has set a target of around 820 commercial aircraft deliveries in 2025. The company continues to ramp up production, with the A320 Family expected to reach a rate of 75 aircraft per month by 2027.
However, supply chain challenges, particularly with fuselage components from Spirit AeroSystems, are impacting the A350 production ramp-up. These issues have led to a delay in the entry-into-service of the A350 freighter variant, now expected in the second half of 2027.
Despite these pressures, Airbus remains confident in its future growth. The company reported an adjusted EBIT of €5.1 billion for its commercial aircraft segment, up from €4.8 billion in 2023, and is projecting an overall EBIT Adjusted of around €7.0 billion for 2025.
Airbus will propose a dividend of €2.00 per share, along with a special dividend of €1.00 per share, reflecting its strong financial performance.
