The Wales national team manager Chris Colman is set to officially open The Quay 3G.

The ex-premier league footballer turned manager will cut the ribbon on the state-of-the-art artificial football pitches which have been funded by the Football Association of Wales (FAW), gap Connah’s Quay Nomads and an investment from north Wales based recruitment firm, gap personnel.

Coleman will be joined by FAW President, David Griffiths and all players for the gap Connah’s Quay academy for the official opening on Saturday 23 January.

The new pitches have been used by more than 5000 football players from teams across Flintshire along with gap Connah’s Quay academy teams since opening late last year.
