14 year old airlifted to hospital following ‘serious road traffic collision in Holywell’

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in Holywell earlier this morning.
Shortly after 8am police received a report of a collision involving a female pedestrian and a red-coloured Honda Civic on Ffordd Holway.
The emergency services are currently in attendance and the pedestrian, a 14-year-old girl, has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Sergeant Medwyn Williams of the Roads Crime Unit is appealing for witnesses and information. He said: “I am urging anybody who may have been travelling along Holway Road shortly before 8am this morning and who may have dash cam footage to make contact with us as soon as possible.
“The road will remain closed for some time to allow officers to carry out their initial investigation and we’d like to thank the local community in advance for their patience.”
