Update: Traffic problems clear on A55 at Broughton following earlier collision

Update: The road is fully open and traffic has cleared.

Earlier report: A section of the A55 was blocked earlier this morning following a collision.

Queues have been forming before the Broughton turn off, with the incident close to junction 36.

One lane is reported to be still closed and the entry slip is also closed at junction 36.

A traffic report states: “A55 Westbound entry slip road closed queueing traffic, one lane closed due to accident at J36 A5104 Mold Road (Warren Bank Interchange).”

“Congestion to J36A (Broughton Shopping Park). Road was blocked earlier, and lane one (Of two) is closed.”
