Unemployment rate in Wales drops to 6.2%

Unemployment is down in Wales to 6.2% – though the rate is still higher than the UK average of 5.7% according to figures released today by the Office for National Statistics.

The unemployment rate in Wales has fallen to 6.2% – but remains higher than the UK average.

Between November and January, the number of people out of work fell by 13,000 to 92,000 

In the previous three months the unemployment rate in Wales 7.1%
