Tip Top Productions, a local community theatre company, is set to present one of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s beloved musicals at Theatr Clwyd in Mold.

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat will be staged at the Anthony Hopkins Theatre from February 14th to 18th with shows at 7:30pm and a matinee performance at 2:30pm on the 18th.

This will be Tip Top Productions’ second large-scale post-pandemic musical at Theatr Clwyd, following their successful production of “Cats” in 2022.

Prior to the pandemic, the company was based at The Forum Studio Theatre in Chester and produced a variety of popular shows and events over 13 years.

In 2022, they staged the popular musical “Calendar Girls The Musical” at Storyhouse in Chester to great critical acclaim.

Rob Stevens, the show’s Director and Choreographer for Tip Top Productions, is excited to bring this iconic musical to Theatr Clwyd. “Our cast, crew, Musical Director, and creative team have worked so hard to put the show together and we can’t wait for our audiences to join us,” said Stevens.

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat was first performed in 1972 and has since become one of the most performed musicals, featuring notable stars such as Jason Donovan, Phillip Schofield, Lee Mead, and Donny Osmond in the lead role.

For more information and to book tickets, visit www.theatrclwyd.com or contact Theat Clwyd box office at 01352 344101.

The public is invited to experience this colourful and exciting production, showcasing the talent of local performers and the commitment of Tip Top Productions.
