The M56 will close at junction 5 from 10pm tonight until Monday morning.

The M56 will be closed at junction 5, from 10:00pm on Friday 27 February 2015 until 5:00am on Monday 2 March 2015, whilst the new Thorley Lane is placed over the motorway.
For traffic travelling to and from Manchester Airport from the Manchester direction will not be affected by the closure.
For traffic wishing to travel through junction 5, either eastbound or westbound, or from Manchester Airport westbound, clearly signed diversion routes will be in place.
