Singapore Air Force to buy 6 Airbus A330 tankers.

The Singapore Air Force has selected  Airbus Defence & Space to supply six A330 multi-role tanker transport , its defence ministry has confirmed.

India is also said to be in the final stages of contract negotiations to purchase six of the A330 MRTT`s

The wings for the A330`s are made at the Broughton site, which last year celebrated the 1000th A330 plane being delivered. 

The A330 MRTT mid air refuelling tankers are in use with the RAF, Australia, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
