Received an email from ‘Pfizer Vaccine Opinion Panel’ ? – It’s a scam, say Flintshire Trading Standards

A warning has gone out to residents in Flintshire regarding a Covid related email scam.

The email purports to come from a ‘Pfizer Vaccine Opinion Panel’ and advises recipients that if they take part in the survey, they will be offered free rewards.

Flintshire Trading Standards team has said, “this is a scam!”

A spokesperson for the team said we are “warning the public of a recent e-mail scam that is circulating.”

“The email appears to come from Pfizer Vaccine Opinion Panel and advises recipients that if they take part in the survey, they will be offered free rewards. This is a scam.”

“When receiving suspicious emails, please do not click on any links that maybe attached and never share any personal information with someone who cannot prove who they say they are.”

“To report a scam, please contact Citizens Advice Consumer Service on 0808 250 5050.”
