Police Say “Incident Under Control” & “No Ongoing Risk”

Officers from North Wales Police have attended a serious incident on High Street, Deeside this evening.

The initial call was received just after 8pm and officers remain at the scene.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and officers have been conducting door to door enquiries.


Detective Chief Inspector Dan Tipton said: “I would like to reassure the local community who may have been concerned by the Police activity in the area.

“As we are in the early stages of an ongoing investigation, we cannot release further details – however we can say that the incident is under control and there is no ongoing risk to the public and members of the local community.”

There are no more details available at present.

The large emergency service response was reported earlier tonight, with a road being closed off by the council.
