Police: Children throwing stones at cars in Queensferry “incredibly stupid and dangerous” behaviour

Police have called the actions of a group of children throwing stones at cars in Queensferry as “incredibly stupid and dangerous” behaviour.

A number of vehicles have been damaged from the stone throwing incidents police have said.

Officers are now appealing for information and dash cam footage of groups of youths seen in the Aston Hill, Station Road and Welsh Road areas in the past few days.

A spokesperson for North Flintshire Police Team said:

“We have had a spate of damages to vehicles over the weekend and yesterday in the Queensferry area with children throwing stones at cars.”

“This behaviour is incredibly stupid and dangerous.”

“We are very keen to speak to the children involved.”

“We are appealing for any dash camera footage you might have of groups of youths in the Aston Hill/Station Road/ Welsh Road areas so we can identify them.”
