North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after an overnight burglary in Flint.

Local officer PC Reid said;

“Sometime overnight between Wednesday 8th& Thursday 9th April a dental practice in Church Street, Flint was broken into.   Thief(s) gained entry and stole cash from within.   If you were in the area at the time and saw any suspicious person or activity, or have any information about this break-in, I’d like to hear from you.”

Patrols will be stepped up in order to reassure the community and seek to establish any witnesses to the crime.

The officer added

“Patrols will be stepped up in order to reassure the community and seek to establish any witnesses to the crime.  The investigation into burglaries is a North Wales Police priority but it must be emphasised we still need assistance from our local communities to both reduce incidents of this nature and identify those responsible.  It is worth reminding members of the public to be vigilant at all times, and if you see any suspicious behaviour contact police immediately.”

Anyone who has any information should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and quote reference RC15049588.
