Now that spring is approaching, it might be a good time to think about getting out and exploring the countryside.

One way of doing this is to join Deeside Ramblers.

Not only is it a way of walking in new areas, it’s a good way of making new friends and taking part in a range of social activities.

Walking is also an excellent natural exercise that can help keep you healthy and live longer.

A variety of walks are available in the programme for April including;

  • 10am, Saturday 4 April, Moel Siabod, meeting at Pont Cyfyng car park near Capel Curig (7 miles)
  • 10am, Saturday 18 April, Moel Lus, meeting at Sychnant car park (10 Miles)
  • 10am, Saturday 18 April, Conwy Mountain, meeting at Sychnant car park (8 miles)
  • 10am, Wednesday 29 April, Tarporley, meeting at the Rising Sun public house, High Street, Tarporley (4.5 miles) Optional pub lunch
