Nine people in court following this weeks co-ordination police operation in Flintshire, Wrexham and Cheshire
Nine people who were arrested in a large-scale operation involving four forces and 140 officers on Wednesday have all been charged by Police.
Police executed 18 search warrants on Tuesday in North Wales and the North West in a coordinated operation involving North Wales Police, Cheshire, GMP and West Mercia Police, more than 140 officers took part.
High-value property was also recovered from properties during the operation some of which are believed to have been in the Flintshire area.
All those arrested have now all been charged, 7 have been bailed to appear before Magistrates and 2 remanded to appear before Wrexham Magistrates today.
Speaking on Tuesday following the operation Chief Supt Jeremy Vaughan from North Wales Police said;
“North Wales Police in a joint operation with Cheshire Constabulary have today conducted a number of warrants throughout Flintshire ,Wrexham and Cheshire.
The operation is in connection to domestic burglaries where high-value Asian gold has been stolen, although other communities have also been victims.
This has been a large scale operation which demonstrates how seriously these offence are taken.”
