NCA Operation Pallial: Man charged with indecent assault

A 52-year-old man from Mold, has been charged with indecently assaulting a boy, following an investigation by the National Crime Agency.

David Challinor has been charged with one offence, which allegedly took place against a 13-14 year old boy between 1986 and 1988.
 
He was bailed to appear at Wrexham Magistrates Court on July 9 2014.
 
Challinor was arrested on October 10 2013, he is the tenth person to be charged by Operation Pallial, an investigation into recent allegations of historical abuse in the care system in North Wales.

On the 6th June Six other men, one from Connah’s Quay were charged with 27 counts of serious sexual assault and will appear in court today 20th June. 

The ongoing investigation is led by NCA Director General, Keith Bristow.
