Man airlifted to Stoke hospital

A man was airlifted to hospital yesterday following an incident in the Halkyn area.

Emergency services were called to the incident, which took place just after 4pm.

An update provided by the Welsh Ambulance Service today, states: “We were called at approximately 4.05pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 22 March) to reports that a cyclist had come off their bike in Halkyn, Flintshire.

“We sent a Wales Air Ambulance and a man was airlifted to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.”
