Flintshire North: District Inspector praises efforts to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour

Inspector Wes Williams has praised the ongoing efforts of North Flintshire’s police team, highlighting successes in tackling crime, anti-social behaviour, and organised criminality.
In a statement reflecting on the year’s achievements, Inspector Williams thanked local residents for their engagement, which he said has been instrumental in addressing the key issues affecting communities.
“I trust that you find the updates that PC Finnerty and our team are sharing useful and informative. The messages are aiming to share some of the excellent work that goes on ‘behind the scenes’ to make our communities a safe place to live, work and visit,” he said.
Inspector Williams noted that the team has focused on reducing crime and anti-social behaviour through two-way engagement with the community, leading to initiatives targeting road safety, drug supply, and organised crime.
“The information that you provide really is helping us to tackle organised criminality, seizure of several illegally used off-road motorcycles, and more offenders are being brought to justice or getting access to services and initiatives to prevent re-offending,” he added.
He acknowledged the contributions of partner agencies and expressed pride in the work being carried out. “I am extremely proud of the excellent work that my team and partner agencies are doing with our communities across North Flintshire.”
As 2025 approaches, Inspector Williams reaffirmed the team’s commitment to listening to the public and taking action to ensure safety. He closed by thanking residents for their continued support.
